Unlocking your council's solar potential

Our recent webinar explored what councils can do to accelerate the decarbonisation of their school estates. The full recording is now available on our YouTube channel and you can also download the slides here. 

The session walked through how we partner with local authorities at every stage of the journey - from providing desktop and/or detailed feasibility studies to fundraising through project implementation. We also shared how our model enables schools to decarbonise at zero capital cost, with third-party funding options covering development costs so that councils can focus on what matters: achieving net zero.  

Key questions raised in the Q&A included: 

• Approval processes for leases – how we support councils every step of the way to ensure a seamless process.  

• Asset management – our role in safeguarding system performance and protecting legacies. 

• Education support – how our workshops, tools, and resources embed long-term behavioural change in schools. 

Our message was clear: we support councils with each and every part of the process, offering end-to-end services that simplify complexity and deliver measurable impact.
