Nine schools registered during test period (Mar 30, 2015)
Nine schools registered during test period date. During the run up to launch of the site, nine schools have already registered for details of the Solar for Schools programme, as a result of our Beta testers speaking about it to friends and family.
Solar for Schools director Robert Schrimpff said: “This is fantastic news. Our testers represent only a very small number but the response helps us see that even from these people and their friends there is real interest in Solar for Schools and we hope more schools will discover that you can have solar power too without having to raise or find capital."
Solar for Schools has been designed to spread the message across social networking sites and went live on 30th March 2015.
Promotion of the site will now slowly ramp up during April.
