The latest heat wave in June caused 45% of Greenland´s frozen surface to turn into meltwater. The alarming fact is that the melting rate is not only increasing but also accelerating. The future of the island depends on our commitment to decrease carbon emission.

Solar subsidy rates would be cut from 1st January 2016. But there has been a delay presenting this to Parliament, so we will now be able to continue to install into January and possibly February.

Last week an announcement from the government indicates the government plans to cut solar subsidies for new systems installed from January 2016 by nearly 80%! This does not affect systems currently in place or those that are installed before the end of 2015.
